Huawei’s MateView series; For Professionals and Gamers.

Okay first up, the monitors for grown ups and creative professionals (like me). I’ll be honest, just looking at the design alone I want one REALLY, REALLY badly. The main attraction, a 28.2″ 3:2 panel that is slightly taller than 4K, pre-calibrated in the factory for ΔE <1 in sRGB mode and ΔE <2 in DCI-P3 mode supporting 98% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and 100% of the sRGB colour gamut. Very nice. It’s capable for HDR 400 and has a VESA mount all in a 94% screen to body ratio

It’s got a future inspired design which is minimalistic enough to accent and fit in any decor. The height adjustable stand supports height and tilt adjustments to your liking and has two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, HDMI, Mini DP and a 3.5mm jack. Did I mention that I really want this already? Audio isn’t left out too as it has two front facing speakers and two microphones with noise reduction in the stand. The MateView really is a content creator’s dream, offering plenty of features centered for them.

A gaming monitor from huawei? ; The Huawei Mateview GT

We were only provided one picture for this but i’m sure alot of people are interested already. I know I have, because I wrote about this before Huawei asked the website to, but this time we finally have all the details.

First up, it’s a 34″ ultrawide 1440p monitor that runs at 165Hz. That’s pretty impressive as far as ultrawide gaming monitors go really. Beyond this Huawei graced this monitor with DCI-P3 capability with a factory calibration guarantee of ΔE <2. HDR is not a strong point here but it does get bright enough to reach 350 nits and supports HDR 10. The monitor really seals the deal for a gamer looking for a monitor with its integrated sound bar. It’s a really nice blend of aesthetic and functionality as the speakers have customizable RGB and two speakers inside it for stereo sound.

At the back the monitor has a headphone jack, a microphone, 2x HDMI 2.0 ports a DP 1.4 and two USB-C ports one of which is full-featured (yikes this is a serious monitor).

Yup. Huawei just came out of nowhere and put out monitors for the largest monitor demographics. As a gamer and content creator myself, both these monitors pack a serious punch and I would be very happy to daily drive either one of these.
