Over 6500 Units of Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 were sold in 24 Hours. Damn Girl.

The Redmi Note series by Xiaomi had always been a value focused phone, and it’s no surprise that it would sell well in a Malaysian market that’s value focused. What’s crazy is that the series sold just over 6500 units in a day because of not only price but included free gifts.

Here’s a quick sheet on the specs so that you’re in the know:

And here’s the good stuff:

Camera

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11S feature 108MP primary sensors, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. Additionally, there’s an 2MP depth camera on Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11S and Redmi Note 11. The front of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11S is a 16MP front sensor. On paper it’s almost in line with the Xiaomi Mi 11 series of yesteryear.

Display

Keeping the Redmi momentum would be up to a FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz DotDisplay with a touch sampling rate up to 360Hz. With a screen size of 6.67-inch and 6.43-inches, the Redmi Note 11 series now comes with a flat-edge body design that houses dual super linear speakers on the top and bottom. It’s good to see phones coming back with a flat-edge body design instead of the over-done curved approach.

Speedy and powerful performance at all fronts

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon® 695. This chipset brings 5G connectivity to the table. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11S features the MediaTek Helio G96 processor instead. Finally, the Redmi Note 11 is equipped with a Snapdragon® 680 processor.

Battery

All four Redmi Note 11 series devices come equipped with a 5,000mAh large-capacity battery and includes a VERY-welcomed 67W turbo charging in Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 11 Pro. Redmi Note 11S and Redmi Note 11 feature 33W Pro fast charging, which is still good.

With a starting price of RM 749, pre-order customers were treated with an additional discount as well as a free pair of Redmi Buds 3 Lite (worth Rm 99), but only for the 6+128GB configuration. Here’s the price list if you’re considering!
