vivo Malaysia Chips In Essentials For Flood Victims

During these challenging times, we’re seeig the unrelenting floods in Malaysia due to extremely rainy seasons. Selangor is the worst hit of the lot, displacing about 41,000 people out of their homes and into relief shelters and the homes of their friends and family. Countless companies, organizations and communities have been doing their best to aid these victims, with vivo Malaysia being one of their newest contributors.

For those seeking shelter in  Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan Kebun, Shah Alam, vivo Malaysia had prepared RM10,000 worth of necessities (face masks, sanitisers and COVID-19 self test kits) to help victims maintain pandemic compliant hygiene. Dry food is part of the mix as well, collaborated with Uncle Kentang who directly distributes them to families.

“The flood has taken everyone by surprise and affected many lives around the country. At vivo, we want to do what we can to help the communities in their desperate times, with hopes that every action we do will make a difference to the lives of the victims. We will continue to do our part in helping the communities and providing care to them,”
