Under RM 2000

The Essential Series

Avita’s Essential 14 series aims to get consumers easy and affordable access to a laptop that’s straight to the point with an interesting cloth finish on the panel. They’re definitely work-friendly and you’ll be able to upgrade the m.2 SATA SSD easily. It uses the newer Intel® Core™ N4020 chipset compared to the previous N4000. It may be on Windows 10 on S mode out of the box, but you’ll be able to switch out and even upgrade to Windows 11 when you connect it to the internet. The 14″ laptop features a Full-HD 1080p IPS panel, so color reproduction would be good.

The Essential 14-HD

Avita’s Essential 14-HD series is slightly more affordable compared to the regular 14. It has the same cloth finish and comes in the exact same specs. The major difference would be the screen, which is in HD resolution (1366 x 768). It’s still an IPS panel though, so even at a lower resolution, things will still look sharp and colorful.

Who Should Buy The AVITA Essential 14 Series?

Basically, it’s a lightweight laptop with a nice finish and decent starter specs. I definitely recommend this for :

  • Students in highschool and college that need to use Microsoft Apps
  • Office workers who need to get document work done on the go
  • Business owners who are on a budget but need a laptop to handle POS, Office and manage social media on their browser.

The Liber V14 Series

Avita’s Liber V14 series would be the current best the brand has to offer in Malaysia. With the retail price fetching up to RM 3299, these stylish laptops pack great specs at mid-range prices. At minimum, you’ll get the tried-and-true Intel® Core™ i7-10510U or the more recent Core™ i5-1135G7 as your chipset. As for memory you’ll start off with 8GB of DDR4 memory on top of a speedy 1TB m.2 SATA SSD. All models are 14″, with a Full HD Anti-Glare IPS display. It comes with Windows 10 Home with a free upgrade to Windows 11!

But which should I pick?

It really depends on your needs. If you’re someone that needs to utilize more CPU and not so much on graphics, then the Liber V14 (Core™ i7 10th-gen) would be a more solid choice. If you want to be able to do your work and have some fun in between with some light games, the V14 (Core™ i5 11th-gen) should be right up your alley, as it has up to nearly 30% higher core speeds compared to the Core™ 10th Gen i7. Plus, it has Intel® Iris XE graphics, which is worlds ahead from the UHD 620.

So Zen, what’s the promo, where do I go?

That’s easy friends, if you’re lighting fast with your trigger finger, the first 50 customers who purchase ANY of the above models will get an exclusive free bundle of :

  • Logitech M170 Wireless Mouse (Grey-Black)
  • Salpido B101 Bass + Wireless Headphone
  • HIKVISION M200R 64GB Thumbdrive
  • Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 1 Device 1 Year

In total, the bundle is worth RM 298, providing you with everything you need to kick start your new year!
