Google’s Wear OS™ is back! Together with Google, Samsung has released the Galaxy Watch4 series, equipping them with the One UI Watch interface.
The Watch4 Series have a new BioActive sensor, which is smaller than ever before without sacrificing accuracy. Users will be able to understand their body fitness better with key measurements like skeletal muscle, basal metabolic rate, body water and body fat percentage. Itcan now also connect with a compatible Samsung smart TV where you can do guided workouts with instructions on screen or group workouts with your friends, all while your important metrics are on the big screen.
On top of that, the Mobile/Smartwatch cross-use experience gets better. With One UI Watch, compatible apps are automatically installed on your watch when downloaded on your phone (if compatible), and your important settings like do not disturb hours and blocked callers are synced instantly. New gestures are also added, and Google apps like Maps or Samsung Pay and Spotify work with the interface.
Some of the important hardware specs are the new Exynos W920 for wearables, wireless charging, LTE, BT 5.0, NFC, IP68 and Corning Gorilla glass. The Standard watch 4 comes in 44 and 40mm sizes while the Watch4 Classic comes in 46 and 42mm sizes.
