DJI’s latest smartphone gimbal is now officially on sale in Malaysia, weighing in at RM 550.
What’s the deal with the Osmo Mobile 3?
The Osmo Mobile 3 is a big jump over the Mobile 2, debuting with a folding mechanism, allowing end users to fold down the gimbal to half its size.
Second, the design has changed from a fixed arm to an oblique supporting arm opening up opportunities for unique angling when shooting and also saying goodbye to smartphone ports being blocked by the arm (we’re looking at you Mobile 2 and friends. )
As for local availability, retailers like KLDSLR have available stock for RM 550. (It’s not local DJI warranty, you’ll be getting Global DJI Warranty in which KLDSLR will help in processing)
KLDSLR has a trade-in programme where you can trade-in your old gimbal for the Osmo Mobile 3 and you’ll just have to top-up the remaining amount. Eligible devices include the Osmo Mobile 2 (top up RM400), Smooth 4 (top up RM420), and the Vimble 2 (top up RM450).
