INFINIX PARTNERS WITH UNESCO FOR STEM PROGRAM COGLABS WORKSHOPS

Infinix and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recently announced a strategic partnership to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education among youth worldwide. This collaboration will focus on expanding access to the CogLabs program, an innovative initiative that introduces students to artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics through hands-on learning experiences.

“Infinix is committed to empowering today’s youth through technology education,” said [Infinix Executive Name], [Title] at Infinix. “Our partnership with UNESCO aligns perfectly with our mission to make STEM education accessible and enjoyable for everyone. We believe that CogLabs has the potential to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.”

The CogLabs program utilizes an affordable and accessible educational robot kit that enables students to build their own robots using 3D printable parts, a smartphone, and basic electronic components. The program guides students through the process of creating machine learning models, fostering their understanding of AI concepts and developing essential problem-solving skills.

“CogLabs is a powerful initiative that introduces kids worldwide to AI and robotics,” said Joan Nadal, UNESCO Master Trainer for CogLabs Workshops and Designer of the original E3bot. “Witnessing the transformative impact on students’ confidence and creativity is incredibly rewarding. We are thrilled to partner with Infinix to expand the reach of CogLabs and empower even more youth to pursue their STEM aspirations.”

As part of the partnership, Infinix will provide technological support to UNESCO CogLabs workshops, including smartphones and laptops. This support will enhance the program’s effectiveness and reach, enabling more students to participate in the hands-on learning experiences offered by CogLabs.

The collaboration between Infinix and UNESCO demonstrates a shared commitment to fostering sustainable development, gender equality, and quality education. By providing accessible and engaging STEM learning opportunities, the partnership aims to ignite a passion for STEM among youth and cultivate the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
