HUAWEI MateBook 2022 Series launched, starts from RM 3699
Let’s Meet The Family, Shall we?
Fresh off the oven, HUAWEI had just revealed 2 of their latest members of the MateBook Series:
Being available for preorder since 27th July onwards, these MateBooks seem to be equipped with more than enough specs to kick start anyone’s work or content creation journey, in a shiny new size.
You’ll get up to 16GB of dual channel 3200MHz LPDDR4x RAM an a speedy 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD (size depending on model).
A Full-View on the Display
For the MateBooks, you get a FullView Display, featuring slim and narrow bezels all over, complete with TÜV Rheinland certification for the blue light sensitive folks out there. It covers about 100% of sRGB and goes up to 450 nits in brightness. For calls, there’s a new FullHD 1080P AI camera for better image quality.
The HUAWEI MateBook D16, HUAWEI MateBook D16s will launch with 12th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors, a timely upgrade from last year’s 11th Gen. They’re the H processors, so they’re definitely productivity focused.
HUAWEI’s MateBooks have always had their signature on their power button, being able to both turn on/off the device as well as a layer of security via the means of a fingerprint sensor. The new MateBooks come with an even faster fingerprint sensor.
Just like all MateBooks current and before, the new series would also include a suite of apps that give direct benefit to existing Huawei smartphone users. These are the main 2:
This basically allows you to pair your Huawei smartphone to your MateBook directly, allowing you to drag and drop files wirelessly between laptop and device once paired together. You can even use your phone as a mouse and keyboard too if that’s your thing.
Apart from file-sharing and navigation, you can also pair your Huawei phone to your MateBook for multi-screen collaboration, or in layman terms, screen mirroring.
