HONOR Malaysia had just announced that the HONOR 50 will be making its way into the Malaysian market from today onwards. What’s cool here is that Malaysia’s the first country outside of China to get it !
It will come in 2 variants
The HONOR 50 comes in 2 versions, with the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage prices at RM 1,699 in 2 color choices of Midnight Black – available to purchase online and offline, and the limited-edition HONOR Code – available for purchase only through various online stores.

Seems Like A Midrange Powerhouse!
HONOR seems to have equipped the HONOR 50 to be a mainstream device, packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor coupled with either 6GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB memory configurations. It will be running Android 11 based MagicUI 4.2 out of the box complete with Google Services (Yay!)
The HONOR 50 boasts a 6.57-inch 75° curved OLED display with a Full HD+ in an exciting 2340 X 1080 resolution. Fans can enjoy their gaming, video or photo experience in a mammoth 1.07 billion color display, covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Further boosted by an intelligent dynamic refresh rate at 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300Hz,
The camera setup is rather impressive on paper, sporting a 108 MP main shooter, flanked by an 8 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP macro camera along with a 2 MP depth sensor, essentially making this a kind-of quad camera setup. The sensors look huge and would be a defining look for the smartphone model.
In the front is a 32 MP selfie cam hole-punched into the display.
The battery pack has a 4300mAh capacity that can be fully charged in 45 minute using the provided 66W SuperCharge power brick.
