Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today unveiled its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, alongside the Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro at its Galaxy Unpacked event.
Building on its legacy of innovation in mobile technology, Samsung has introduced the next chapter of Galaxy AI, designed to leverage the unique form factors of the new Galaxy Z series. This integration aims to provide users with a wider range of mobile experiences.
Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6: Powerhouse Foldables with Enhanced AI
- Galaxy Z Fold6: This large-screen foldable boasts a series of AI-powered features and tools to maximize productivity. Features include Note Assist on Samsung Notes for easy meeting notes, transcript generation for voice recordings, and PDF overlay translation. The Galaxy Z Fold6 also features an upgraded S Pen experience with a new Sketch to Image function that allows users to create art pieces based on sketches or drawings.
- Galaxy Z Flip6: This pocket-sized foldable offers a range of customization and creativity features. The enhanced Super AMOLED FlexWindow allows for AI-assisted functions without opening the device. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Flip6 features Photo Ambient, which utilizes AI to generate wallpapers that change based on the time and weather.
Both Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 are equipped with the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the most advanced Snapdragon mobile processor yet. They are also secured by Samsung Knox, Samsung Galaxy’s defense-grade security platform.
Galaxy Buds3 Series: Expanding the Connected Experience
The Galaxy Buds3 series, powered by Galaxy AI, brings a new level of communication to the table. Features include:
- Interpreter in Listening mode: This feature allows users to hear translated lectures directly through their Galaxy Buds.
- Voice Command: Control music playback and other functions with simple voice commands.
- Adaptive EQ and Adaptive ANC: These features intelligently optimize sound quality based on how you wear your Galaxy Buds.

The Galaxy Buds3 series is available in two designs: Canal Type (Galaxy Buds3 Pro) for immersive sound and Open Type (Galaxy Buds3) for extended wear.
Availability
The Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Buds3 series will be available for pre-order starting today, July 10, 2024, with general availability starting July 24, 2024.
