HONOR Pioneers Full Cross-OS Connectivity in Malaysia with HONOR Connect

HONOR has officially launched HONOR Connect in Malaysia, making it the first brand in the country to offer full cross-operating system (OS) connectivity for file transfers across Android, iOS, and Windows devices. This innovative solution, first unveiled earlier this year during the HONOR ALPHA PLAN launch, aims to break down platform barriers and enhance user productivity and creativity through seamless file and media transfers.

Unlike existing cross-device OS solutions that are often limited to smartphone-to-smartphone transfers between Android and iOS, HONOR Connect extends this capability to include smartphones, tablets, and laptops within a unified ecosystem.

The integration of HONOR Connect is now available on HONOR’s newly launched HONOR 400 Series smartphones, the HONOR MagicBook Pro 14 laptop, and the HONOR Pad 10 tablet. This development sets a new benchmark in Malaysia for effortless file sharing across diverse devices.

Blazing Fast Speeds and Universal Compatibility

HONOR Connect boasts impressive transfer speeds, offering up to 85 Mbps when sharing with iOS devices and 40 Mbps with Android devices. It is designed for reliable and fast transfers of files, photos, and videos to one or multiple devices simultaneously. The system also supports cross-platform transfers between smartphones and computers, including both iOS and Windows systems, eliminating concerns about compatibility issues or restrictions.

HONOR MagicBook Pro 14: Seamless Integration

The new HONOR MagicBook Pro 14, HONOR’s latest flagship laptop, features integrated Cross-OS Connectivity. This allows users to easily transfer documents, media, or presentations between the laptop and an iPhone, or vice versa, with just a few clicks. For instance, a designer can edit a campaign draft on the MagicBook Pro 14 and send it directly to a teammate using an iPhone, or high-resolution images can be sent from an iPhone to the laptop without cables or third-party cloud services. Users outside the HONOR ecosystem can also join by downloading the HONOR Connect app from the App Store, positioning the MagicBook Pro 14 as a potentially more affordable and powerful alternative to a MacBook.

HONOR Pad 10: Smart Sharing for Students

With HONOR Connect, the HONOR Pad 10 offers a seamless sharing experience. Students can now quickly send and receive PDFs, slides, notes, and videos to and from any device, including iPhones, facilitating a more efficient study environment.

HONOR 400 Series: Enhanced Creative Connectivity

The HONOR 400 Series, known for its Next-gen AI Imaging technology, now further benefits from HONOR Connect. Users can easily share and receive files, images, and videos across Android and iOS devices. This enables HONOR 400 Series users to receive photos from an iPhone, enhance them with AI photography features like AI Image to Video, AI Eraser 2.0, and AI Cutout, and then share the edited photos. Users can also create Moving Photo Collages using Live Photos and share them with both iPhone and Android users. Further editing of these creations can be done on Windows or iOS devices like the iPad without limitations.

One Ecosystem for All

HONOR Connect effectively removes the boundaries between mobile phones, tablets, and laptops across different operating systems. This gives users the freedom to combine devices from various brands, avoiding ecosystem lock-in. The solution is secure, fast, and seamlessly integrated, setting a new standard for connectivity. HONOR’s focus on user experience and innovation aims to create an open and welcoming ecosystem for all users.
