HONOR Malaysia released a poster on Facebook today teasing the brand’s upcoming new smartphone, which will be launched in Malaysia soon. HONOR Malaysia Country Director, Justin Li, described this new device as a combination of AI Aesthetic Flagship and photography aesthetics.
Featuring HONOR’s Latest AI Technology
At VivaTech 2024 on May 23, CEO of HONOR Device Co., Ltd., George Zhao, emphasized the on-device AI concept. He highlighted its advantages over Cloud based AI, such as improved security and trust due to reduced risk of data leakage. On-device AI can also perform deep learning based on user behavior, allowing it to understand users better than Cloud based AI. Additionally, it enables cross-device functionality between a user’s various HONOR devices. For example, if a user owns a smartphone, laptop, tablet, smart watch, earbuds, and other smart devices from HONOR, these devices can all learn the user’s behavior and work together to provide a more personalized experience.
At present, HONOR’s AI functions have been applied to unique features of the HONOR Magic Series, such as AI Motion Sensing, Magic Portal, Magic Capsule, AI Privacy, and AI Eye Protection. George said that HONOR’s AI functions will be integrated into all mid-to-high-end HONOR products in the future. As confirmed by Justin, upcoming new products to be released in Malaysia will also be equipped with the latest AI functions and an imaging experience comparable to professional cameras.
