In the smartphone industry (concerning cameras), it’s not always about the number of lenses you have, but also the quality that they are. As usual, this is dictated by price, which should be fair. However, there are brands out there that try to offer more value by giving better quality sensors at more competitive price tags. A phone that actually caught my attention. It’s Samsung’s Galaxy A52s 5G, and it’s uncannily impressive camera setup. Consisting of 4 sensors with 3 usable cameras, it was able to produce actually pleasant results that you should see in our review HERE (We heavily insist, because we’re not selling out, the proof is in the pudding).
We’re dealing with a quad-camera setup at the back, consisting of a main 64MP wide, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro / depth sensors.
You get OIS too, so shots and videos that came out of the A52s 5G were fast, quick focused and of decent color reproduction.
For selfies, you’re taken care of with a 32 MP sensor that does reasonably well with portraits with decent separation and good detail.
The device also has many borrowed features from the Galaxy flagship series. One of which is the Single Take experience; it helps you snap multiple pictures and videos at a moment’s notice with just one tap of a button. This comes in handy for special occasions, like birthdays or vacations where you want to capture all the memories without the hassle of choosing angles for multiple photos and videos. With the help of AI, you can run, jump, take candid shots, get creative with the way you take your pictures, and capture it – your pictures and videos will always come out looking fantastic as it helps you choose the best ones.
Longevity is important too, so note that the Galaxy A52s 5G’s 4500 mAh battery pack is able to last at least a busy day if you’re heavy on camera use, and up to 2 days on light-medium use.
