MSI recently announced that their MAG A1000GL PCIE5 and MAG A850GL PCIE5 power supplies are among the first to achieve the new PPLP ATX 3.0 certification.
PPLP Recognizes High-Performance PSUs
The PPLP, or PSU Performance Level Plan, is a new certification program designed to identify top-tier power supply units (PSUs) in the market. Similar to existing certifications, PPLP offers a tiered rating system, ranging from Bronze to Super Ti.
The PPLP team boasts over a decade of experience in PC hardware testing, utilizing advanced equipment and Chroma instruments to ensure precise measurements. Their focus goes beyond just power efficiency, also evaluating overall performance to deliver PSUs that meet consumer demands for both.

Triple Gold Certification: A Mark of Excellence
In addition to the PPLP Gold certification, both MAG A1000GL PCIE5 and MAG A850GL PCIE5 have also secured 80 PLUS Gold and Cybenetics Gold certifications. This signifies that these PSUs have achieved the highest recognition available within these major standards.
