Research firm Canalys had recently released its report for top smartphone vendors worldwide in the second quarter of 2022, where Xiaomi had once again topped the list of smartphone vendors in Malaysia.
Xiaomi achieved the No.1 spot on the list with a 30% market share this quarter, armed with a steady annual growth, surpassing other notable brands like Samsung, vivo, OPPO and realme.
Which Models Made The Impact?
According to Xiaomi Malaysia, Q2 was the time the flagship XIaomi 12 Series was launched and it was well received by the market, flanked by the mid-range Redmi Note 11 series which had established a very heavy presence in the market and provided constant and steady availability in the entire country.
