The Mi A3 Launched for Under RM900, Mi Band 4 for RM149

A lot of people appreciated the Mi A1 and Mi A2 when they were first launched. As of today, the Mi A3 has been announced as the third device under Xiaomi’s Android One line of smartphones, and just like their predecessors all smartphones under this program will be using Google’s direct Android OS, complete with updates.

Mi A3 key specs:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 655 chipset
  • 6.1-inch AMOLED panel (1560 x 720 resolution)
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64 GB / 128GB UfS 2.1 storage with microSD card support up to 256GB
  • Triple main cameras
    • Main: 48MP f/1.79
    • Ultrawide angle: 8MP f/2.2
    • Depth sensor: 2MP
  • 32MP f/2.0 HDR Front-facing camera
  • 4,030mAh battery with 18W wireless fast-charging support

The Mi A3 comes in 3 colors, being named the same way Google’s Pixels phones were:

  • Not Just Blue
  • More Than White
  • Kind Of Grey

The Mi A3 will be on sale nationwide and on ecommerce channels from 3rd August onwards, coming in 2 sizes:

  • 64/4 GB – RM899
  • 128/4GB – RM999

At this point, just go for the RM999 variant. It’s RM 100 more for double the storage, even though it already supports microSD cards.

As for the Mi Band 4, it’s one of the more highly sought afer products Xiaomi has in Malaysia for its functions and really low cost of adoption (RM 149 for official Malaysian set).

Being Xiaomi’s 4th try at making a fitness band, the Mi Band 4 is definitely a jump over the Mi Band 3, offering a near 1-inch coloured AMOLED touch display and up to 20 days of battery on a single charge.

You can already order the Mi Band 4 for RM 149 on Lazada, Mi Store and Shopee (pipipipipipi)
