Midea Launches Four New Inverter AC Series in Malaysia with Advanced AI Energy Saving and 6-Anti-Corrosion Technologies

Midea has officially introduced four new air conditioner series in Malaysia: Avigator, Numen, Celest, and Glory Pro. These new models aim to set new standards for efficiency and durability in the Malaysian market with their AI-powered smart energy-saving systems and advanced graphene anti-corrosion technology. The series also features intelligent home integration, offering Malaysian households efficient, durable, and eco-conscious comfort.

Midea produces over 41 million units annually, supported by extensive real-world operational data and numerous global energy-saving patents. The newly launched models incorporate the ECOMASTER AI algorithm, described as an industry-first billion-data-level optimization system designed to enhance both precision energy management and comfort. This technology allows for up to 49% extra energy savings compared to standard modes with a single tap, as certified by SIRIM Malaysia, effectively addressing the traditional compromise between energy efficiency and cooling performance in ECO mode.

The new series also includes a smart energy-saving dual upgrade with an integrated Energy Management System. This system provides users with real-time power monitoring, monthly electricity reports, and predictive alerts based on preset usage thresholds, allowing for optimization of cooling usage via the Midea app. Midea states this transforms the air conditioner into an AI-powered energy manager rather than just a cooling device.

Durability is a key focus, with the inverter ACs engineered to withstand the challenges of tropical climates. They are equipped with PrimeGuard 6-Anti-Corrosion Technology, offering 360° protection for both indoor and outdoor units. Critical components such as heat exchangers, copper tubing, and PCBs are shielded from heat, humidity, and corrosion. Noteworthy innovations include high-purity TU1 copper tubes with a specialized coating for the indoor unit, and HYPER GRAPFINS™ condenser fins utilizing aerospace-grade graphene for the outdoor unit, providing 12.5 times stronger corrosion resistance as certified by Intertek. The units are certified for 20–50 years of accelerated lifespan, 240 hours of UV resistance, and 72 hours of salt spray testing. Additional features contributing to longevity include wide voltage operation (240V) for stable performance during power fluctuations, UV-laminated PCB coating for enhanced resistance to moisture and corrosion, and auto dust reversal for outdoor unit self-cleaning.

For rapid cooling, the new series features COOLFLASH Technology, capable of cooling a space by 6°C in just 10 minutes. This mode is designed for whole-room coverage and operates reliably in temperatures up to 55°C, making it suitable for Malaysia’s climate. The technology utilizes an overclocked compressor for ultra-fast cooling and a 9.2m wide-angle airflow to ensure comprehensive comfort.

Furthermore, the air conditioners prioritize air quality with Air Magic Technology, which releases positive and negative ions to neutralize 99.97% of airborne bacteria and viruses. This is complemented by i-Clean self-cleaning technology, which uses a frost-expansion cycle, ensuring long-term health benefits with low energy consumption and reduced maintenance.

The Avigator, Numen, Celest, and Glory Pro series are now available for purchase across Malaysia through Shopee, Lazada, and authorized Midea Proshops nationwide. The models are offered in capacities ranging from 1.0HP to 2.5HP to cater to different room sizes and cooling needs.

Midea offers an industry-leading warranty program for all units, with optional extensions up to 10 years for the full unit and 3 years for the compressor upon registration via MideaClub.
