ID-Cooling Unveils Next-Gen Thermal Solutions at Computex 2025

ID-Cooling took center stage at Computex 2025, showcasing a comprehensive range of new and updated CPU coolers, AIO liquid coolers, and fans. The company’s exhibit highlighted advancements in both performance and aesthetic appeal, catering to a diverse spectrum of PC builders, from extreme enthusiasts to small form factor aficionados.

AIO Liquid Coolers: Enhanced Performance and Visuals

ID-Cooling’s liquid cooling lineup received significant attention, with a focus on maximizing heat dissipation and integrating user-friendly features. The updated FROSTFLOW SL360 V2 Plus AIO was a standout, featuring a uniquely expanded radiator design. This enlargement, coupled with a thicker side-frame on its AP-120 fans, significantly increases the active fin area of the radiator, promising superior cooling performance. The SL360 V2 Plus (and its non-Plus Black/White variants, which use 120mm x 28mm thick fans) both sport a vibrant 2.1-inch circular LCD display on the pump, offering real-time temperature monitoring and customizable ARGB lighting.

The popular DX Series AIOs have also been refined, now offering a detachable display for convenient monitoring of temperatures and fan speeds. Similarly, the FX360 LCD now comes equipped with a 1.5-inch LCD. For those prioritizing a minimalist aesthetic, ID-Cooling introduced the DX360 GDL AIO, specifically updated to work seamlessly with BTF (Back-To-the-Future) motherboards, ensuring a clean and cable-free build.

While specific TDP ratings for the new AIO models were not extensively detailed for all, existing FROSTFLOW X series models, for instance, offer TDP support up to 250W, and DASHFLOW 240/360 models boast up to 260W, indicating a robust cooling capability across the updated line. The fans on these AIOs, such as the ZF-12025-RGB, typically offer speeds from 900 to 2000 RPM, with airflows around 55.2 CFM and static pressure of 2.13mmH2O, striking a balance between cooling and noise.

Air Cooling Innovations: Smart Displays and Compact Solutions

ID-Cooling’s air cooler segment saw notable updates as well, with the FROZN series (both single and dual tower designs) receiving detachable magnetic top covers. These covers integrate displays that can show CPU temperature, fan speed, and even CPU usage, providing a smart and convenient way to monitor system health. New models like the FROZN 410 TD specifically display CPU temperature, further enhancing user control.

For compact builds, the IS low-profile CPU cooler family expanded with two new models. The IS-77-XT EXH boasts a height of just 77mm and features six heatpipes with a 120mm x 17mm fan, while the IS-53-XT Black comes in at 53mm high with four heatpipes. These additions reinforce ID-Cooling’s commitment to delivering powerful cooling solutions for small form factor PCs, where space is at a premium. Older IS series coolers like the IS-25i are known for their extremely low profile (27mm total height, 75W TDP) and the IS-26i at 25mm (65W TDP), showcasing ID-Cooling’s expertise in this niche.

A Scented Surprise: The FROST X55 Thermal Paste

In a truly unexpected reveal, ID-Cooling introduced the ID-Cooling FROST X55 scented thermal paste series. Available in five distinct variants – Luna, Viola, Bella, Poma, and Core – this innovative product aims to add a unique sensory dimension to PC building. While performance metrics for the scented paste were not immediately available, this whimsical addition garnered considerable attention and demonstrated ID-Cooling’s willingness to experiment with the user experience.

ID-Cooling’s Computex 2025 showcase solidified its reputation as a forward-thinking thermal solution provider, offering a blend of high-performance cooling, smart features, and unique innovations designed to cater to the evolving demands of the PC hardware market.
