HGM, Malaysia’s Unified Handheld Gaming Community announces HGM 3.0 (Handheld Gamers Malaysia 3.0), an official gathering that aims to bring hundreds of Malaysian gaming handheld enthusiasts and owners under one roof to enjoy the passionate hobby.
This marks HGM’s 3rd Major event, which happens at least once a year. HGM in itself, originally organized by local tech media ZenTheGeek, has officially appointed a dedicated committee to invest time and resources into growing the community and organize future events in the capital with plans to push further into other states.
HGM is intended to also invite curious consumers and families looking to explore gaming handheld ownership, and provide them a space to meet existing owners to share knowledge, tips and recommendations from an end-user perspective.
But Who or What is HGM?
Handheld Gamers Malaysia is a unified community of handheld gamers all over Malaysia of over 1000+ members with steady growth. This unified community covers all major platforms such as Nintendo, Windows and Android based handhelds, including the Steam Deck.
HGM aims to be the representative platform for Malaysia to Educate Existing and New Handheld Owners on their products as well as new ones and Create meaningful offline events that bring fun together while achieving brand goals.
The committee consists of 4 members, with the same aligned goal and vision to bring our standards to an international level, with the hope of bringing more brands and activity to the country.

With excited anticipation and energy, both ASUS ROG (Republic Of Gamers) and SANDISK APAC will be participating as brand partners to showcase their latest products and educate participants on them.
HGM 3.0
HGM 3.0 will be hosted at ATO Gaming Cafe TTDI. Living up to its namesake, ATO Gaming Cafe is a large establishment that’s completely decorated to appeal to gamers and techies, complete with fusion cuisine and snacks that customers can enjoy while playing on the cafe’s readily available sets of consoles, including the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch for hours on end. HGM 3.0 will be completely FREE entry, with options for participants to purchase a Lucky Draw Ticket Pack for RM 20
