Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has officially unveiled the Galaxy Buds4 series, featuring the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds4. This latest lineup aims to redefine premium audio by combining high-fidelity sound with a computationally designed fit for all-day comfort.
Doubling Down on Blade Design
The Galaxy Buds4 series introduces an iconic “blade” design, developed through the analysis of hundreds of millions of ear data points and over 10,000 simulations. This ergonomic approach features smaller earbud heads to ensure a secure and comfortable fit throughout the day.
The earbuds feature a premium metal finish with engraved pinch controls for easy settings adjustments. They come in a new transparent clamshell-type cradle that makes storage and charging more intuitive. Users can choose between two distinct architectures: a canal-fit design on the Buds4 Pro for maximum functionality, or an open-fit design on the Galaxy Buds4 for a more relaxed experience.
Bigger Speakers, Hi-Fi Sound and Intelligent Noise Control
A major hardware update in the Buds4 Pro is the inclusion of a wider woofer, which increases the effective speaker area by nearly 20% compared to previous models. This, combined with an advanced tweeter, delivers immersive 24-bit/96kHz high-fidelity audio true to the original recording.
The series also boasts significant software enhancements:
- Enhanced Adaptive ANC and EQ: The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) intelligently tunes out environmental distractions, from heavy transit sounds to engine noise, while the Adaptive Equalizer (EQ) analyzes ear shape in real-time to minimize noise leakage.
- Super Clear Call: Utilizing super wideband technology and machine learning, this feature ensures voice clarity during calls even in bustling environments like restaurants or stadiums.
- Voice and Siren Detect: Exclusive to the Buds4 Pro, these features automatically boost ambient sound during conversations or when emergency alerts are detected.
Deep AI and Ecosystem Integration
The Galaxy Buds4 series acts as a natural extension of the Samsung ecosystem. Users can initiate AI agents like Bixby, Google Gemini, and Perplexity using hands-free voice controls. Additionally, the Buds4 Pro supports “Head Gesture” controls, allowing users to manage calls or interact with Bixby through simple head movements.+2
Connecting to devices is simplified through a seamless setup process that requires only opening the cradle. For high-quality audio, the Buds support the Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC) and Bluetooth 6.1.
Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy Buds4 series will be available for pre-order starting February 26, 2026, with general availability beginning March 11, 2026. In Malaysia, the Galaxy Buds4 Pro is priced at RM999, while the Galaxy Buds4 is available for RM699.
Pre-order promotions running from February 26 to May 31, 2026, include a 10% discount on the Buds4 series for customers who purchase selected Galaxy S and Z series models. Eligible Samsung Members can also redeem an exclusive 10% discount voucher via the Samsung Members application.
