So What’s The Difference?
Well, apart from the bump in specs, we still see Snapdragon 870 chipset still part of the series, just like on the Black Shark 4. It’s not a bad chipset, but our speculation is that it’s to keep costs low and factor in more favorable improvements.
We also see a change in design language, from finish to camera module. Replacing the slit trench style module is the more mainstream clustered design, which might be a subtle hint that there are now bigger cameras in there that’ll take nice shots. Yes, even as a gaming phone.

Is it coming to Malaysia?
Well, we would say so, as we have some confirmation that if and when the Black Shark 5 series arrives in Malaysia, it would be complete with GMS and 4G/5G band compatibility.
