Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. officially unveiled the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, the latest additions to the popular Galaxy A series. These new devices aim to bring “pro-level” features and the company’s newest mobile innovations—branded as Awesome Intelligence—to a broader global audience.
“The new Galaxy A series reflects our continued commitment to AI democratization,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics. He noted that these devices combine fundamental performance with enriched AI to drive rapid expansion of the technology
Enriched Awesome Intelligence
Operating on the new One UI 8.5 (Android 16), the devices introduce several AI-driven productivity and creativity tools:
- Communication & Productivity: A new Voice Transcription feature in the Voice Recorder app can transcribe and translate call recordings or voicemails. AI Select allows users to extract text or create content via the Edge Panel or move items effortlessly using Drag & Drop in Multi-Window layouts.
- Creative Editing: The Object Eraser tool has been upgraded for more natural results, while the Galaxy A57 5G gains Best Face and Auto Trim for perfected group shots and easier video editing.
- Search & Assistance: Circle to Search with Google now supports multi-object recognition. Users can also choose between an upgraded Bixby for device control and Gemini for complex tasks across various apps.
Upgraded Camera and Display
Both models feature a versatile triple-camera system led by a 50MP main sensor. Enhanced Nightography ensures clear photos in low light, while the Galaxy A57 5G adds advanced image processing to reduce noise and sharpen details.
The devices sport 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ displays (Super AMOLED on the A37) featuring Vision Booster and a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and indoor/outdoor clarity.
Performance and Longevity
The Galaxy A57 5G is the most powerful A-series device to date, featuring a slimmer, lighter design despite housing a 5,000mAh battery capable of up to two days of use. It also includes a 13% larger vapor chamber to sustain performance during heavy gaming.
In a move toward sustainability and security, Samsung is offering:
- Up to six generations of OS upgrades.
- Six years of security updates.
- Hardware-based security via Knox Vault and new privacy tools like Private Album and Privacy Alerts.
Pricing and Launch Promotions in Malaysia
The Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G are available starting 25 March 2026. To celebrate the launch, Samsung Malaysia is offering rebates and storage upgrades.
