At the HONOR Autumn New Product Launch held in China, HONOR introduced its brand-new HONOR X40, a lightweight entry-level smartphone with a 6.67″ OLED screen and a120Hz refresh rate. It follows the Honor Magic4 Pro’s footsteps in display tech, offering the same 1920Hz high-frequency PW dimming, which can reduce flicker damage in dark light environments.
It also brings about a slightly bigger 5100mAh battery, with the impressive bit being that the device will only have a thickness of 7.9mm which is considered thin for its standard.
So far, the only variant confirmation would be that the HONOR X40 will come in 128GB / 8GB , with a slight possibility of a 256GB / 8GB popping up later on.
It will most likely be launched this coming October 7th, 2022.
