The Asia Pacific Predator League (APPL) returns for its electrifying sixth edition, offering a massive USD 400,000 prize pool and a chance for you to etch your name in esports history.
Organized by Acer, the APPL 2025 pits the best players and coaches from 15 regions across Asia Pacific against each other in Dota 2 and VALORANT. This year, the prestigious Grand Finals will be held for the first time ever in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!
A Tournament on the Rise
The APPL has come a long way since its inception. From just eight participating regions in its first year, it now boasts 15 regions and has awarded a staggering USD 1.75 million in total prize money to date.
“We at Acer are passionate about gaming,” said Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific. “The APPL allows us to connect with the thriving gaming community and foster competition at all levels, from local qualifiers to the Grand Finals in January 2025.”

The APPL 2025 kicked off with a thrilling character design competition, “It Lies Within.” Congratulations to the winners: CHK DSK and Sid Ibamit from the Philippines (1st place) and YoungPray (Thailand) and Jiva (Indonesia) (2nd place). Malaysia Steps Up to the Plate
Calling all Malaysian esports hopefuls! Registration for the APPL 2025 Malaysia Qualifiers is open until August 18th, 2024. Teams can vie for a share of the prize pool and the coveted Predator Shield by registering here: https://bit.ly/3WH7POV
To make the tournament even more accessible, Acer is hosting qualifiers across four regions in Malaysia: north, central, south in Peninsular Malaysia, and East Malaysia. These qualifiers will take place from mid-September to the end of October 2024.
