Republic of Gamers (ROG) had just freshly announced the ROG Phone 5s, which is an amped up version of the commercially successful ROG Phone 5. It comes in 2 variants, the ROG Phone 5s and Phone 5s Pro
What’s the difference?
Design language stays mostly the same, with the ROG Phone 5s Pro variant having a customizable ROG Vision logo at the back, compared to the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate that only features a monochromatic ROG Vision logo. The ROG Phone 5s Pro comes only in Phantom Black, whereas the ROG Phone 5s will have both Phantom Black and Storm White colors.
The Hardware
Performance wise, both the ROG Phone 5s spearheads with the Snapdragon 888+ with up to 360Hz of touch sampling rate.
The ROG Phone 5s will have up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and the Pro up to 512GB.
RAM wise, the former will have up to 16GB LPDDR5-3200 RAM, and the later 18GB LPDDR5-3200 RAM. The rest of the spec sheet pretty much remains the same as on the first ROG Phone 5 launched earlier this year.
